Observations on Daniel & the Apocalypse
by Isaac Newton
This fascinating and little known work of Sir Isaac Newton has been fully re-typeset and
includes three colour plates (one of Thornhill's portrait of Newton, and two of Woolsthorpe
Manor) and a facsimile page from the original 1733 edition. Newton takes a historicist approach
to both Daniel and Revelation, for example identifying the dragon in Revelation 12 with pagan
Rome and persecutions of the early church.
